She got to fifty in 35 pitches - her swiftest at the World Cup - and her ton in 84 balls as she flogged anything short, striking 21 boundaries and three big hits.

Once she was dismissed Australia needed 66 more at run per delivery - a manageable total now requiring a leisurely stroll.

"To chase 330 is new territory so I am glad we have the assurance to accomplish that now," added Healy.

"Ideally we won't need to repeat it but, if necessary, we are confident we can do it."

These statements will be the final thing rival teams at this tournament need to hear.

In recent days a belief they will triumph from any situation has grown stronger - this success following win against Pakistan by 107 runs despite being 76-7 at a certain moment.

Following this Australia face Bangladesh before a match against old rivals England in Indore in a week and a half, by which point a semi-final place may likely be confirmed.
